A Stir The Pots Post

Canton Bread

by | Apr 23, 2023 | Bread, Sourdough, Switzerland

Reminded of my sister, who is Swiss and lives in Switzerland, I decided to bake something that would reflect her spirit, which is nourishing and beautiful. So I baked this sour-dough influenced loaf known as Canton of Glaronais. Baked on the hotted April day I ever remember, it made a lovely picture as it cooled off in the warmth of my springtime New York City kitchen.
