Coffee is my elixir, so when my loyal espresso machine died I was shattered. Do I get it repaired?  Some machines have warranties. Not my re-machined model. Time to buy a new replacement, in this case a smaller version (sans grinder attachment), 

 

Without a grinder in my new machine, I had to borrow the one belonging to my wife. Ah, here’s an admission. Me and my wife share many things. But when it comes to coffee… just say both of us are territorial when it comes to Morning Joe.  Anyway, after a few explorations with my new machine, I was able to create a masterfully dosed cappuccino;  exceptional foam minus Arte swirls.

 

More, this machine was even better. On my previous model, my coffee was somewhat bitter, funky, not perfectly dosed. It might have been adjustment settings or bad valves. Whatever, I’m enjoying my particular brand and bean straight from Naples. Buon cafe!
