A Stir The Pots Post

Eric Girerd #repost

by | Nov 18, 2023 | Chocolate, Interviews

My friend Eric Girerd is a sixth generation chocolatier who we first interviewed on Stir The Pots  in 2007. He’s been my “go to” for any big event at my job for any event from Christmas to big parties and special affairs. In fact he’s taken over the making of our club’s iconic chocolate discs served to every one of our dinner guests, his products taking a load off my hands of labor intensive tempering and molding. Bottom line, the chocolates he creates are world class.

Besides selling to restaurants and private clubs, Eric serves customers at a patasserie in Jersey City, a charmer of a spot that is also a cafe.  And besides producing and chocolates here in the New York metro area, Eric chocolates are sold worldwide including outpost locations in Tokyo and Korea.

Given the holidays are coming up, we decided to repost a sweetheart of an interview he gave Stir the Pots back in 2007. Enjoy.
