At my job, we celebrate the coming of summer with Spring Fling, an annual event that overlaps Memorial Day. It’s a night where often 400 guests are encouraged to souse themselves with cocktails and beer, munching on home-made pizzas and donuts. It’s always a bit crazy but fun, only ending at the wee-hours of the morning. This year we made it sourdough-only, from the doughnuts to the pizzas. It turned out well. Thanks to my staff, the sourdough, and Uber for getting me home, and God Bless the troops, it’s Memorial Day, folks. Seriously, don’t forget.
