After a weary weak I needed a drink to take off the edge. A good guide for the endeavor was my friend and mixology maven, Dee Anne Quinones! A good place to do it was at her new digs, the six month old Grace 365. I started with her recommendation, a Sazerac with pear juice. Ah, my friends, the edge soon started to fade. For the next step, Dee Anne helped me navigate to bar food, in this case the addictive house-smoked potato chips. Followed those with shucked oysters and deviled eggs downed with a Guinness stout! Good ambiance, a busy bar and of course a great friend tending to my beverages.
I'll be back again, for more food, nevermind Dee Anne's wonderful tumblers and elixirs!
