This interview was actually conducted back in 2005, one of the first we did at Stir the Pots. At the time, Chef Jean-Michel Gammarielo was both manager and sommelier of the Union League Cafe in New Haven, CT. In the conversation with Stir the Pots host Jeremy Shapiro, Gamarielo talks about cooking with his good friend Jacques Pepin, moving from the kitchen into the world of wine, and reflects on the larger world of chefs and food.
Somehow we lost the original link but fortune led us to Arthur Mullen, someone who had heard and captured the interview by sharing it on his blog, The Hyperion. a history project about the historic Chapel street in New Haven Connecticut. When he offered to post it on YouTube, well, thanks to Arthur and here it is.
